Many active, safety conscious families take their babies boating or canoeing. Until now they have only had pfd’s made for children from 20-30 lbs. available to them. This life vest, the Salus Bijoux Baby Vest, fills a real void in the water safety product line.
It is not a scaled down adult pfd. It is constructed specifically for babies’ top heavy body structure and takes into account the real way a baby’s body would be in the water. Its one piece front design ensures that the baby will turn face up from a face forward position.
The 3-piece collar cradles the baby’s head when lifted by the collar straps or while the baby is floating on his or her back. Its mesh harness and short front provide enhanced comfort for sitting upright or lying down.
